History of the Classroom
Enrichment Grant Program

From its founding in 1987, and in joint effort with the Public Education Foundation since 1994, the Enrichment Grant fund grew from $5,000 to $21,000 by 2004. In 2004, the Love Foundation joined our efforts, and annual awards have ranged from a high of $36,000/year (for 5 years) to $27,000 each year since.

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Evansville, we would like to thank the Public Education Foundation and the Love Foundation for their many years of partnership with this program. Since 1987, together, we have given over $700,000.00 in education grants.

Our schools have benefitted from these Classroom Enrichment Grants, our teachers and students have benefitted; our community has benefitted. Working together, we WILL continue to be Evansville Education Strong!
